The High Street

Whitchurch is the oldest market town in North Shropshire and lies near the border between Wales and England.

The town is at the heart of the Meres and Mosses, an area with pools of water and peat bogs, which was formed by glaciers retreating after the last ice age.  This wetland is of international importance.
